Inaugural & Julia Miami Trip
Julia's grandmother, Elsa, came to visit during the Bush
inauguration weekend in January.
Julia and Elsa were thwarted in their attempt to view the
actual swearing in, so they instead mingled with the masses of
protesters and enjoyed a reception at Julia's law offices.
From the windows, they could see the motorcade wind in front
of the White House.
It snowed heavily that night, giving the azaleas out back the
appearance of being in bloom. This made a nice setting for the
pictures of "Great Golden Eagle" and Clay.
Julia took the snaps of South (Miami) Beach while on a retreat
later that month.
