Julia's sister, Maia, came to see Clay and experience Washington attractions.  She's going independent study this year, so she had to fit in plenty of homework, too.  Julia's mom Alexandra also visited, but unfortunately we don't have any pictures.

We spent Thanksgiving at Butterwood, the family farm of Emily's husband, Chris. (See also last spring's album)

We finally did the holiday open house that we'd imagined for years. Julia made dozens of cookies from scratch, and Judd just bought lots of stuff at the grocery store. We had about 60 people attend and it seemed like they had a good time.
