September - October 2000

Highlights during the fall months included visiting the farmer's market in downtown DC and going to the National Zoo with Clay's playgroup pals.

Julia accomplished her goal of completing the Marine Corps Marathon. She ran it in 4 hours 35 minutes, putting her in roughly the top 1/3 of her age group.

Finally, Clay enjoyed his first Halloween, costumed as a cowboy. He was remarkably tolerant of having all the gear attached to his body. (Here's our Halloween greeting card in case you missed it.)
